This strength, peace and wellbeing generated from the practice of Tai Chi and Qigong can be utilised to help with the energy required to bring about your most cherished dreams and wishes.

Qigong and Tai Chi are ancient healing art forms that assist with bringing about balance and harmony, excellent health and assist greatly with reducing stress and any tension in the body and mind. Studies have shown that Tai chi and Qigong can help with energy flow and improved circulation and beneficial for many health conditions such as back issues, high and low blood pressure, osteoporosis, fatigue, headaches. It also is excellent for fall prevention and assists also with being coordinated also.

The difference between Tai Chi and Qigong is that Tai Chi is a form sequence of healing movement, whereas Qigong involves a singular standing form with energetic breathing exercises designed to connect with and improve different parts of the body. For example, there are particular Qigong movements that can assist with improvement of energy for the lungs and kidneys.

The more relaxed you are, the greater you will feel the benefits of Qigong and Tai Chi.

What I love about Tai Chi and Qigong is the great feeling of calmness, peace, and overall improved wellbeing that I feel after practicing. It is a very suitable form of exercise for reducing stress in the busy world we live in.

I have thoroughly enjoy and benefit from learning and practising the art of Qigong & Tai Chai with Catherine Rawling. Catherine has a lovely serene energy and is an accomplished instructor. My weekly class with her offers time to relax and re-energise in the context of a busy lifestyle that includes running a PR Agency focused on luxury domestic and international travel clients, and as well, spending time with family and friends. It also enhances my clarity of vision to choose the activities that create joy in my life.

I recently joined the Qigong sessions with Cath. I also do Karate, which can be very intense, so Qigong helps me to balance my energy. I do a daily session every morning and sometimes during the day when I have time. I think Qigong is suitable for most people and I encourage everyone to try it. It can have many health benefits, such as easing pain, enhancing mental health and strengthening immunity. Cath is a wonderful gentle and instructor who is so patient and calm. Cath radiates positive energy. She makes me feel relaxed and supports me with positive words when I am stressed. I have attended some of her live sessions at the park and they were great. I recommend you join her online sessions or a live session if you want to learn more about Qigong and want to give it a go.
